Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and who it goes to. In short: we do not keep your conversations, there are no accounts, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers.

Who is responsible for your data
Dharmalogist is run by Lashlan Hemachandra, an individual based in Malaysia, who is responsible for personal data handled by this site under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Reading the site
You can read Gates 1 and 2 without giving us anything. There are no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools on this site.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and any errors, which we use only to keep the site secure and fix problems. These records are kept for a short time.
Your conversations in Gate 3
- We do not save them. There is no database and no chat history. A conversation exists only in your browser tab, and is gone when you close or refresh the page.
- To write each reply, your messages are sent from your browser to our server and then, through a service called OpenRouter, to the company that makes the AI model, Anthropic (the maker of Claude). Our server passes them on and keeps nothing.
- OpenRouter and Anthropic process your messages under their own privacy policies, and may keep them for a limited time, for example to prevent abuse. Their servers are in the United States and other countries outside Malaysia.
- Please do not share information in a conversation that you would not want processed this way.
Your name
If you tell the chat your name, it is kept in your own browser's storage, on your device only. It is sent with your messages so the guides can use it, and it is never stored by us. You can change it or leave it out at any time.
Subscribing and payments
- Payments are handled by Stripe. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your email address, card details and billing country. Your card number never reaches us.
- Stripe tells our site your Stripe customer and subscription numbers, and whether your subscription is active, so that we can let you into Gate 3. We can see your email address, payment history and subscription status in Stripe's dashboard, and use them only to run your subscription, answer your questions and handle refunds.
- Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires. Stripe's own privacy policy covers how it handles your data.
Cookies
We use two small cookies, both needed for Gate 3 to work, and no others:
dharmalogist_member: proves you have an active subscription. It holds your Stripe customer and subscription numbers and how many messages you have sent this month, signed so it cannot be forged. Lasts up to 30 days.dharmalogist_pass: used only by testers with a password. Lasts up to 30 days.
Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages.
Who we share data with
Only the services above, and only to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payments), OpenRouter and Anthropic (writing the AI replies). We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to its use. Since we keep almost nothing ourselves, this mostly concerns your subscription records with Stripe, which we can help you with. Email lashlanhemachandra@gmail.com.
Age
Gate 3 is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change. Significant changes affecting subscribers will be emailed to you. See also our Terms of Service.
